I'd like to introduce you to my movement and breath class, which incorporates a combination of Qi gong and somatic exercises to release energy stagnation throughout the body. This stagnation has accumulated over years of constant busyness and neglect of the body, leading to potential misfunction and disease. Our heightened stress levels result in shallow breathing. My movement and breath classes aim to slow down the mind, synchronizing the breath while integrating the mind-body connection through specific movements that open energy channels, promote oxygenation of the cells, and increase flexibility in the muscles, while also rinsing the internal organs and encouraging improved blood flow. You can expect to experience a sense of balance and improved sleep quality. Although the external environment remains busy, your body and mind will be more at peace, enabling you to remain calm amidst chaos.
